Rosmarinus officinalis
"Growing in the wild in the Mediterranean bassin, rosemary, Rosmarinus officinalis, is a small bush beloning to the Lamiacees (Labies). It has a lot of phytopharmaceutical qualities, but it is also a condiment and a honey producing plant (the rosemary honey is very reputed) and is often used in perfumes. Litterally, in Latin, its name means 'dew of the sea' because it spontaneously grows on the seaside, but accroding to a gospel tradition ""Romarin"" would mean ""Rose of Mary"" (the English rosemary)."
