    Mountain savory provides an essential oil that has been very well studied in French universities for its anti-infectious power. It remains a must in the fight against pathogenic germs although its regular use is limited by its dermocausticity on sensitive skin or in its pure state on the skin. This perennial plant, with short, very leafy stems, is found in hills and low limestone mountains.
