Pelargonium graveolens - type Egypte
Of the 500 species of geranium, only a few are used in aromatherapy. It is cultivated in Madagascar, Reunion, Guinea and Algeria.
The sweet and suave or stronger scents of certain species justify its very frequent use in perfumery and cosmetology.
