"Lavender fine PDO essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering tops of Lavandula Angustifolia P. Miller. This species comes from a population of plants of local origin reproduced exclusively by sowing seeds for guarantee the authenticity of each lavender and guarantee the varietal richness of these lavender populations.

Cultivated on more mountainous grounds, at an altitude of at least 800 meters, PDO lavender benefits from a freshness of temperatures which guarantees the aromatic finesse of its essential oil. In addition, the poor soil water in these mountainous areas limits vegetative expression and directs the metabolism of the plant towards the synthesis of these aromatic components.

Fine PDO lavender is characterized by its remarkable olfactory qualities, it is immediately recognized by the insolent subtlety of its fragrance.
